The meeting was brought to order by Supervisor Moraska. The following Board members were present: Jim Moraska, Jerry Bartnicki, Cherryl Mencinger, David LeBoeuf, and Kevin LaBonte. Guests included: Jim Nowack, John Anderson, Larry Johnson, Robert Biggs, Sadie Ross, Gary Eichhorn, Dan Hammerberg, Mike Malone, and Gerald Kleiman.

APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA:
The motion was made by Kevin to approve the agenda with David supporting. All in favor, Aye, Motion carried.
All bills are up to date. A motion was made to accept the Clerks Report by Kevin and was seconded by David. Motion to approve the Budget meeting was made by David and supported by Jerry. David and Kevin looked over the expense statements. Minutes of the monthly meetings can be viewed on the Township website located at www.powers-spalding.org Motion approved.
Jerry gave the financial hand out showing the Township’s monthly balances and went over the report. A motion to accept the treasurer’s report was made by Cherryl and seconded by Jim. All in favor, Aye. Motion approved.
Both taverns and one grocery store in the township are current for November, no issues were reported.
FIRE REPORT/FIRE CHIEF & FIRE DEPT:
The Department responded to 4 calls costing $0 dollars in losses and spending at total of 3 hours and 37 minutes.

Subject: Memo #1Grants
I have submitted the grant for the Engine #1 replacement in the amount of $350,000.00. If awarded our share will be $16,666.00.
This Grant was not awarded.
Rich as applied for grant this September application period. He requested tools for the rescue truck, light towers, and foam totaling $5000.00.This grant was awarded for $3550.00. The Department will be working on the purchasing of the equipment to close out the grant.
Gerald had a couple more burials. Jim stated that the park is closed up and the water is off.
John presented his Assessor’s report.

WALKING TRAIL UPDATE
Jim emailed Scott Nowack and we did get a payoff but the project hasn’t been finalized yet.
LAND DIVISION RESOLUTION FROM MENOMINEE COUNTY
Jim read a part of the revised resolution. Jim asked for a motion to accept this new resolution. All of the Townships were asked to approve this resolution. Motion was made by David and seconded by Cherryl. Motion carried. A copy will be mailed to the Equalization Dept.
RE-IMBERSEMENT FROM ACCIDENT FUND
The Township had a safe year and we got a reimbursement from our insurance company. Jim thanked the membership for a safe year.
Jim received a quote from Lange Enterprises for road signs. The Township is in need of several signs. Jim would like to put this into our budget for next year.
POT GROW OPERATION (COUNTY SHERIFF DEPT WITH INFO)
The county sheriff was suppose to be at our meeting but didn’t show. Jim read the Township’s Ordinance that we have in place. Cherryl called MTA and asked for clarification and their response was that as long as we have our Ordinance in place, no we won’t allow any marijuana operations in our Township. This ordinance can be varied.
MTA CHRISTMAS PARTY (DEC 7TH @ BELGUIM TOWN HALL)
The deadline to be able to go to the MTA Christmas is Dec 1st. Anyone that would like to go please notify Cherryl.
Mike came to our Township Board meeting to inform the Board that our current server is getting obsolete and needs to be replace, It will no longer be upgradable after this December. A motion was made to purchase a new server by David and seconded by Kevin. Motion carried. Jerry requested to have this done by Dec 1st
MOTION TO PAY THE BILLS (ROLL CALL VOTE)
Motion was made to pay the bills by Jerry and seconded by Jim. Motion approved. Roll Call Vote: Jim, yes, Cherryl, yes, Jerry, yes, David, yes. Kevin, yes. Motion approved.
